Here's a detailed look at today's top streaming services and the deals they'll be offering on Black Friday.

While most of the sales on Black Friday are limited to physical goods such as TVs, electronics, and home appliances, it's also a perfect time to join a new streaming service. Hulu, Netflix, HBO Max, and other popular platforms are offering big savings for Black Friday and Cyber Monday – and unlike most deals, these don't run the risk of going out of stock.
Here are the best deals on streaming service for Black Friday 2021
Hulu is bringing back its popular 99 cent deal for Black Friday 2021. New and eligible returning subscribers can sign up for the ad-supported Hulu plan for just 99¢ starting at midnight on Thanksgiving Day and through 11:59 pm PT on November 29. With the deal, you'll get the discounted price for a full year.
This deal is for Hulu's ad-supported plan which normally costs $6.99 per month. With the ad-supported package, you can stay up to date on current seasons of TV shows, with many episodes streaming the day after they air live. You'll also have access to Hulu's entire on-demand library and Hulu originals.
Disney Plus is the premier destination for all things Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and – of course – Disney. The House of Mouse has built up an incredible streaming platform over the past few years and now features a catalog filled to the brim with exclusive content. Disney Plus doesn't offer any form of live TV, but it does offer a deep library of on-demand films and TV shows that you won't find anywhere else. Disney Plus is available for $7.99/mo. or $79.99/year.
While Disney isn't offering a standalone offer, you can save on the streaming service if you sign up for an Amazon service. Amazon is offering up to six months of Disney+ for free when you sign up for an Amazon Music Unlimited subscription. You can go here to redeem their offer.
If you're a Verizon customer, you'll also want to check out this exclusive Disney Plus promotion.
While it's not as popular as some other names on this list, Sling TV is a surprisingly versatile streaming platform. Two different plans are available – Orange or Blue – and each one caters to a slightly different audience with slightly different channels. Both plans offer 50 hours of DVR storage, access to live TV, and on-demand programs for $35/mo., or you can subscribe to the Orange & Blue plan for $50/mo. to access everything Sling TV has to offer. As usual, a variety of add-ons are available.
For Black Friday, Sling TV is offering a BOGO deal on any package. This means you can pick up one month of Sling Orange, Blue, or Orange & Blue and get a second month free. The deal will be live from November 26 to November 29.
HBO Max offers an on-demand catalog of exclusive movies, TV shows, and documentaries. While the HBO originals take center stage, you'll still find other content such as The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Godzilla vs. Kong, and even Rick and Morty. No live TV is offered, and plans start at $9.99 per month.
No Black Friday plans have been announced for HBO Max, but you can check out these current HBO Max free trials and deals.
One of the top platforms for on-demand content, Netflix carries many of today's most popular exclusives. There's no option for live TV, but access to originals such as Stranger Things, Squid Game, and Bojack Horseman more than make up for the omission. Plans start at $8.99/mo. for basic access, although you can expect to pay at least $13.99/mo. to watch content in HD. Ultra HD is even more expensive and is only available as part of the $17.99/mo. Premium plan.
Netflix doesn't typically offer Black Friday discounts, but in the past we've seen it bundled in with other platforms at a discounted rate. Stay tuned in the coming days for more info.
Peacock is offering 50% off of its Peacock Premium deal for 6 months for Black Friday 2021. Peacock Premium is already one of the least expensive streaming services at about $5 per month, but with the code TODAY you'll get 6 months for just $15.
Peacock is relatively new to the streaming world, but it's already garnered legions of followers – thanks to The Office exclusivity. It offers both live TV and on-demand shows, and there's even an entirely free membership plan that gives you access to a large portion of its catalog. Paid plans begin at $4.99/mo. and the ad-free version is available for $9.99/mo.
Paramount Plus is offering one month of its streaming service for free for Black Friday 2021. To get the deal, just sign up for Paramount Plus and use the code PEAKSALE at checkout.
Live sports, breaking news, and on-demand content are all available through Paramount Plus. You can also tune in to live NFL games and UEFA matches, along with plenty of other sports commentary through CBS Sports HQ. There's an abundance of family programming, too, with Clifford The Big Red Dog, Rugrats, and iCarly all available on-demand. Your first seven days of Paramount Plus are free, then you'll need to sign up for either the Essential Plan ($4.99/mo) or the Premium Plan ($9.99) – the latter of which offers no ads and the ability to download shows to watch later.
For Black Friday 2021, Philo is offering new subscribers one month of the service for just $5, a savings of $20 off the normal price. With your subscription, you'll have access to over 60 live TV channels including Lifetime, A&E, TLC, Paramount Network, and Hallmark.
All you have to do is enter the code BFCM on the Philo website when you sign up, starting on November 25, to get the discounted price.
With so many streaming services waiting to announce their Black Friday deals, it's hard to say which one is the most enticing. A few are likely to avoid the holiday altogether – such as Disney Plus – but it's still unclear what Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, and Peacock are planning for the holiday. For now, Sling TV is the clear winner. Out of all the available discounts, nothing comes close to the BOGO offer by Sling.
While we wait for more streaming platforms to receive discounts, now is a great time to check out some impressive Roku Black Friday deals. Not only will these devices give you access to all the services listed above, but most Roku devices are available at the lowest prices of the year during Black Friday.
