The network's one new show is being held for midseason

Angela Bassett, 9-1-1
Disney/Christopher WillardABC is taking the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach to its lineup this fall. After renewing every one of its scripted shows for the first time in the network's history, ABC is rolling out a fall schedule that's heavy on familiar favorites, and you'll find most of them on the nights you expect. 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Nashville, and Grey's Anatomy are staying put on Thursdays; Dancing With the Stars still anchors Tuesday nights; and Monday Night Football is still Monday Night Football.
But there are a few changes, even for shows that aren't exactly going anywhere. This spring's Scott Speedman P.I. drama RJ Decker is holding on to its Tuesday night time slot, but since it's moving to the fall, it gets a shiny new neighbor in Dancing With the Stars. That pushes High Potential to midseason. Shifting Gears is also moving to midseason, making room for Scrubs to share an hourlong comedy block with Abbott Elementary on Wednesday nights.
The network's only new scripted show in the works is being held for midseason, too. The Rookie spin-off The Rookie: North, starring Jay Ellis, will premiere in 2027 — which should make it even easier to cross over with The Rookie, which is once again taking time off during the fall season.
Here's everything you need to know about ABC's fall 2026 lineup.
