AMC's Fire isn't going out any time soon. The network announced Tuesday that it has renewed tech drama Halt and Catch Fire for a second season, which will premiere next summer.
AMC's upcoming computer pioneering drama Halt and Catch Fire will premiere Sunday, June 1 at 10/9c, TVGuide.com has learned. The 10-episode series follows an unlikely trio, played by Lee Pace, Scoot McNairy and Mackenzie Davis, as they try and revolutionize the idea of the personal computer. Set in the early 1980s, former IBM executive Joe McMillan (Pace) enlists an engineer Gordon Clark (McNairy) and the volatile prodigy Cameron Howe (Davis) in the hopes of forcing his company Cardiff Electric into the personal computer race.
