AMC Announces Premiere for Halt and Catch Fire

AMC's upcoming computer pioneering drama Halt and Catch Fire will premiere Sunday, June 1 at 10/9c, TVGuide.com has learned. The 10-episode series follows an unlikely trio, played by Lee Pace, Scoot McNairy and Mackenzie Davis, as they try and revolutionize the idea of the personal computer. Set in the early 1980s, former IBM executive Joe McMillan (Pace) enlists an engineer Gordon Clark (McNairy) and the volatile prodigy Cameron Howe (Davis) in the hopes of forcing his company Cardiff Electric into the personal computer race.

Half and Catch Fire is created by Chris Cantwell and Chris Rogers. Showrunner Jonathan Lisco will executive producer with Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein.
