Will Canterbury's Law be back ...
Question: Will Canterbury's Law be back next season? Answer: That depends. If Julianna Margulies has incriminating photos of Kevin Reilly or Peter Liguori, then, yes, Canterbury's Law will be back. If Julianna Margulies doesn't have incriminating photos of Kevin Reilly or Peter Liguori, then, no, Canterbury's Law will not be back.
What do you know about the ...
Question: What do you know about the upcoming episode of Scrubs titled "My Princess?" Answer: I know that it's the last original episode of Scrubs to air on NBC ever, it was a crapload of work, and Bill Lawrence doesn't really care if no one likes it. "Even now, after seven years, we try to do one show that we spend way too much money and time on in the hopes that people… actually, you know what? We're ultimately just making ourselves happy," Bill confesses. "It's like last year when we did the musical. Some of the response was like, "Who gives a s--t?" But we were happy. Same thing when we did the live-action sitcom. And this year, partly because my wife always jokes that I haven't written an episode of Scrubs that my kids can watch, and partly because one of our favorite family movies is The Princess Bride, we did a huge
When is Mad Men coming back? ...
Question: When is Mad Men coming back? They left us with one hell of a cliff-hanger way back in October. Answer: Well, Arturo, you'll be happy to know that the cool cats of Sterling Cooper are already hard at work on Season 2, which will premiere on AMC in July. (Look for the Season 1 DVD around that time as well.) I hear that Preggy, er, Peggy may have to move back in with her devout Catholic mother, sister and brother-in-law.
Please tell me this crap I'm ...
Question: Please tell me this crap I'm hearing about Callie and Sloan having sex again on Grey's Anatomy is a lie.Answer: Look, just because the teaser ABC sent out for the May 8 episode of Grey's says, "Callie turns to Sloan in her time of need" doesn't mean that the two of them are doing the jiggery-pokery behind the nurses' station. It means they're doing it [insert name of obscure Seattle Grace location].

Question: Got any Season 4 Prison Break scoop? Answer: Two new players in the war between Scofield and the Company will be introduced in the season premiere. On one side we have Don, an FBI handler who offers Michael a way to bring down the Company once and for all. And on the other side we have Penrab, the Company's top assassin who's waiting on the sidelines for his chance to attack.

Question: So, Danny went and cheated on Lindsay. Can you give the fans any good reason why we should still tune in to CSI: NY? Answer: Here's one: Per a source close to NY, "Danny-Lindsay fans will be quite pleased with how the season ends for those two." In other news, Chris Meloni's doppelganger, Elias Koteas, has booked a flashy two-episode arc playing a bank robber who finds himself caught in the middle of a hostage situation. He'll appear in the season finale and in the fifth-season premiere next fall.

It's Official: Chalke Returning to Mother! Is Brit Next?
Hear that? It's the sound of fresh ink drying on Sarah Chalke's brand spankin' new How I Met Your Mother contract!Sources confirm to me exclusively that Chalke has formally signed on to reprise her role as Ted's possible future wife in at least one additional episode. (I first reported on the Chalke-Mother negotiations back on April 10.) The Emmy-worthy Scrubs cutup is due back on the Mother set this week to begin work on this season's third-to-last episode. Meanwhile, talks are continuing for Britney Spears to return as Chalke's loopy assistant, although my source insists no deal is in place. Yet. "The producers want her back," says the insider, "and hope she will return."My prediction: The ink will be dry on that comeback in the next 48-72 hours.

Exclusive: Khandi Alexander Departs CSI: Miami
OK, now this is getting downright ridonkulous. For the third time this week, I'm bringing you exclusive news about yet another cast shake-up at a hit procedural. This time 'round, the show in question is CSI: Miami and the departing thesp is Khandi Alexander. Although CBS declined to comment, a Miami insider confirms that Alexander — who has played medical examiner Alexx Woods since day one — is leaving at the end of the season. What's the story behind this exit? I'm not 100 percent certain, but, from what I gather, it wasn't one of those mutual deals we've been hearing about so much lately. Let's just say Alexander had some, um, issues with a certain aspect of the show and leave it at that, K?Meanwhile, Miami's on the prowl for a new medical examiner to succeed Alexander, and word on the street is the newbie will have male genitalia. Sad to see Alexander go? Yes? No? Pick one and, please, elaborate away in the comment section. And if you have any predictions/leads on who'l...

Exclusive: Were Dourdan and Neal (Gulp) Fired?
I believe it was Mark Twain who once said: "Cast shake-ups are like Transformers — there is usually more to them than meets the eye." And I was reminded of how true those words were this week following my back-to-back exclusives that CSI and Law & Order: SVU would be losing Gary Dourdan and Diane Neal, respectively. Initially, I reported that the actors were leaving for the most mundane of reasons: Both of their contracts were up, and they had decided to move on. But in the hours that followed the posting of those stories, new information came to light that now calls into question my original sources the exact circumstances surrounding the exits — specifically, whether the stars were leaving of their own accord or if they had been shown the door. In the case of Dourdan, an insider at the show insists that he and CSI execs "mutually agreed" to part ways for "creative reasons." However, a CBS mole claims the 41-year-old actor was essentially fired, adding that producers ...

Angel Vet Moves into Whedon's Dollhouse!
The mystery as to which Buffyverse grad Joss Whedon was considering for Dollhouse has been solved! Early this morning, Whedon announced on his blog that Angel vet Amy Acker is joining the show's cast in the recurring role of Dr. Claire Saunders, the smart yet sad looker-after of the dolls who may or may not have a crush on nerdy programmer Topher (Fran Kranz). Love. It.Whedon also confirmed that Miracle Laurie has been tapped to play plus-sized doll November, whose comforting and radiant presence tends to get her fewer of the criminal gigs and more of the personal ones.No. Clue. Question: Please give me a hint about who's leaving NCIS. There are currently 293 comments on this in the Ausiello Report. You can't leave us totally hanging for weeks. Give us something. Answer: I'll give you something, but I can't guarantee it'll reduce your anxiety level. The exiting NCIS series regular will be (last chance to bail before major spoiler!) tragically murdered in one of this season's five remaining episodes. Now, whaddya say we get those comments up to 400 by close of business today?

Question: Grey’s Anatomy casting two gay service members? Sign me up! I am a former service member that was discharged for being gay. Question: From one Smurf fan to another, can you give any additional hints as to which of your options — engagement, elopement, breaking up or having sex — is the "big stuff" in store for Jim and Pam on The Office?Answer: I have a better idea. How 'bout I eliminate one of the options from the mix? I can confirm that the "big stuff" does not involve any sort of Jam split. That leaves engagement, elopement and having sex as the three remaining possibilities. Look for the field to narrow even further tomorrow night between 9-9:30 pm/ET.
