The Yogi Bear Show

An anthology series with three-recurring segments. Yogi Bear and his sidekick Boo-Boo Bear are anthropomorphic bears residing in Jellystone Park (a parody version of Yellowstone National Park). Yogi is a petty thief and con-artist who tries to steal food items from human visitors and to have a good time, while Ranger Smith acts as the strict authority figure trying to enforce law and order. Boo-Boo is a rather timid fellow who keeps trying to warn Yogi about potential threats. Also part of the cast is Yogi's girlfriend Cindy Bear, a gentle girl with a Southern accent who typically carries a parasol. Featured in his own segment is Snagglepuss, a pink mountain lion with a taste for luxury and a passion for the theater. Before dashing off-screen to make an escape or run an errand, Snagglepuss always announces the move in the form of a theatrical stage direction, saying "Exit, stage left/right/up/down!". His main foe is the hunter Major Minor, and his love interest is the lioness Lila. Lila keeps rejecting Snagglepuss' attempts to court her, but her suitor is persistent. The third and final segment focuses on Yakky Doodle, an innocent duckling who wanders into dangerous locations and situations on a daily basis. The local predators Fibber Fox and Alfy Gator. try to take advantage of his recklessness and naivety, but Yakky's adoptive father Chopper acts as a fierce protector to the boy. Chopper happens to be a physically powerful bulldog.
