In Season 4 of "The Goldbergs," Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) struggles to connect with her children, while Erica (Hayley Orrantia) makes it her mission to date Geoff Schwartz (Sam Lerner). Murray (Jeff Garlin) attempts to teach Barry (Troy Gentile) the value of money, leading to all three Goldberg kids getting jobs at the local mall. And Barry's relationship with Lainey (AJ Michalka) is in jeopardy when she gets into fashion school. This season also sees Erica confronting Murray about the attention he gives their dog, Lucky; and Adam (Sean Giambrone) and Barry competing for the approval of Pops (George Segal). Notable guest stars include Martin Kove in the episode "The Kara-te Kid," KITT (the talking car from "Knight Rider"), and the Harlem Globetrotters.
