Season 1 of this fantasy-based drama follows ex-cop Vince Faraday (David Lyons) who takes on the superhero persona of "The Cape" after he is framed for murder. He and a group of ex-carnies fight the crime and corruption of the Palm City police and politicians, as well as the ARK Corporation, while investigative blogger Orwell (Summer Glau) joins their plight with both words and violence alike.
