Mickey is the responsible one between himself and his two roommates, gay sex addict Bud and straight beefcake Tab. A Canadian with an expired visa, Mickey is working four jobs, payment under the table, to pay the bills and he can barely make it. Bud and Tab however have been selling drugs as their source of income, those sources having dried up. Rent is due in twenty-four hours, non-payment which will lead to their eviction, none of the three who currently has his share. Through Clark, one of his dance classmates who he sees has a more than comfortable life, Bud learns that a potential source of income is through a sugar daddy who, as Bud previously assumed, doesn't necessarily mean a proverbial ninety year old with a walker. Tab also sees this course as a natural for himself (in his case through a sugar mama). The two will find that a sugar parent comes in many different forms, they both able to make their share of rent through slightly different sugar parent means. Despite having lost one of his jobs and unable to make rent, Mickey refuses to sell his body, that is until.

In what has become a sexual relationship, Early makes a declaration to Bud, who has decide what to do with the information. What may factor into his decision is Clark's seeming want to take their purely sexual relationship into possibly being boyfriends. Tab's relationship with Benny has solely consisted of shopping trips for Benny to buy him things, i.e. Tab has not yet had to put out. Thinking that he has taken things with Benny as far as they can go without having sex, Tab looks for another sugar daddy. He will find that sugar daddies are individuals who have different expectations from each other. Mickey's sole transactions in "selling his body" have been to perform his construction work for Mr. O'Malley in the nude. That work is placed into jeopardy.

Bud is testing the waters with other daddies in Early's declaration of love. Bud will discover that he isn't as lovable as Early makes him out to be. Tab knows that he will eventually have to put out, either with Benny or someone else, and wants to see what gay sex is like before he has to do it for the money. He decides that chemical stimulants will help ease him into it. And Mickey is far behind both Bud and Tab in his exposure on the daddy app, so Bud decides to be his pimp/manager. In the process, Mickey thinks that Sarah would like to start something with him.

Benny decides to end his sugar daddy transactions with Tab in neither seemingly getting out of it in its purely relationship terms what either wants, the end which Tab would lament in missing Benny as a person. Seen with Benny by someone Tab knows places that relationship in clearer perspective on both sides. Bud is still trying to find who he would consider the perfect sugar daddy as he strings his current daddy, Gus, along, while Clark still pursues Bud as a boyfriend. Bud also discovers that his mother still checks on his goings-on in an indirect way which may threaten their relationship in its entirety. And Bud sets up a meeting for Mickey with who would be his first real sugar daddy if both Mickey said person, Costas, agree to enter into the transaction.

With his mother having cut him off in learning, in his own words, that he is "selling his ass", with his tuition due, and unable to ask Gus for more money, Bud looks for an additional sugar daddy. Who answers his ad is a sugar mama, which is more up Tab's alley, but he, desperate for money, decides to give straight sex a try. Bud also decides to contact Early to see if he will take him back despite probably still feeling uncomfortable with Early's declaration of love, and connects with Clark in that need for pure sex for sex's sake. Mickey continues to see Costas, but also decides, for Costas' sake, to explore the waters with Sarah.

Mickey, Bud and Tab's personal and sugar parent relationships are all placed into jeopardy as certain secrets are revealed and certain incompatibilities come to light, while these situations make them evaluate what is important to them. These issues come to a head as the guys prepare for the latest party at the apartment.
