In San Francisco, Mickey, Bud and Tab became friends on first being roommates, they all party boys. A Canadian no longer with a visa, Mickey is the only one who routinely works, several menial jobs all paid under the table, to make ends meet. While Bud's mother pays for his tuition for dance classes, he and Tab sell drugs they acquire by somewhat legitimate means for their income. When they all get to the point of having their income sources dry up and thus unable to pay the imminent rent and face possible eviction, they come up with the idea to have older, wealthy people pay for their lives in return for sexual favors, i.e. sugar daddies. They each face different issues in approaching this new life, gay Bud for who it should be fairly easy in being a bottom sex whore, straight beefcake and simpleminded Tab who would look for a sugar mama (and perhaps being gay for pay if it comes to that), and sexually fluid Mickey who doesn't see himself as typical meat for hire.
