The fifth season of the CBS romantic comedy sitcom "Rules of Engagement" continues to follow the exploits of two friendly couples who are at very different stages in their relationships, and their womanizing single friend. Highlights from this 24-episode season, the first time the program received a full-season order from the network, includes Adam (Oliver Hudson) coming clean to Jennifer (Bianca Kajlich) about his time as a cheerleader, Timmy (Adhir Kalyan) being forced to babysit a kid he does not know because Russell (David Spade) is dating the child's mother, and Jeff (Patrick Warburton) and Audrey (Megyn Price) finding the ideal woman to be a surrogate mother for the child they want to have. Guest stars this season include magician Criss Angel, Joan Collins, and Jamie Pressly.
