9 Episodes 2007 - 2008
In the first season of this "Grey's Anatomy" spin-off, ob-gyn and neonatal surgeon Addison (Kate Walsh) leaves Seattle Grace Hospital and heads to California to work alongside two of her old friends, exes Naomi (Audra McDonald) and Sam (Taye Diggs), at Oceanside Wellness Center, a co-op private practice. Their reunion is a happy one, but Naomi and Sam didn't tell the other doctors in the co-op—Pete (Tim Daly), Violet (Amy Brenneman) and Cooper (Paul Adelstein)—that they were hiring Addison, so tension develops. Before long, Addison and Pete get on each other's nerves and then develop a mutual attraction; and pals Violet and Cooper embark on a friends-with-benefits relationship.
