The New Batman Adventures
The New Batman Adventures is a continuation of the acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series. Stories in this series tend to give more focus to Batman's supporting cast, which include fellow crimefighters Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl, among others. The show also features guest stars such as Supergirl, Etrigan, and The Creeper; characters who would later appear with Batman in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.
Rebels
Lavish, sudsy sequel to 'The Bastard' charts Philip Kent's journey through the American Revolution and its aftermath. A host of familiar TV actors crop up as icons of the period, including William Daniels as John Adams (a role Daniels played to the hilt in the 1972 movie musical '1776'). The miniseries was followed by 'The Seekers.' Based on the novel by John Jakes.
Dateline Europe
This international adventure-mystery series was filmed in Europe. During its four-year run the show switched main characters and stars three times. The first two seasons centered on an American wire-service correspondent in Stockholm, the third on a pipe-smoking reporter in Paris, and the final one on an American hotel owner in Vienna. Later, each incarnation was released separately under new titles: 'Dateline Europe,' 'Overseas Adventures' and 'Cross Current.'
