In Season 3 of "Mom," Christy (Anna Faris) and Bonnie (Allison Janney) decide to pass on what they've learned as they battle with their addictions by taking young addicts under their wing. At home, Christy is determined to change her future and takes the pre-law exam, but the cost of college may bring her dreams to an end. Meanwhile, Bonnie decides to get back into dating after catching the eye of Christy's boss, Steve (Don McManus). And much to the disgust of Candace (Sara Rue), Christy draws the attention of her father, Fred (Harry Hamlin), while at a lunch with Baxter (Matt Jones). Elsewhere, Violet (Sadie Calvano) hits a bump in the road with Gregory (David Krumholtz) and Christy is horrified to realize there is more than meets the eye to Violet's heartbreak.
