Cops on the Rocks

Mike and Carl's friendship has fallen apart since the previous episode. Mike is forced to work with his new partner, who follows the rules by the book, but working with his new partner is proven to be quite difficult for him after he accidentally shoots off his rifle and he destroys the roof of the police cruiser. Carl decides to take Mike back as his partner despite the ups and downs they have gone through. Meanwhile, Molly and Peggy participate in a NPR interview.

Molly buys a fit-bit for herself and Mike, she persuades him to exercise more, but he doesn't take his heath or fitness seriously. Mike has Samuel wear the fit-bit, but Molly finds out that Mike has taken a shortcut instead of partaking in any exercise. Mike gets into a dispute with Carl and he leaves his car. Mike comes back to Molly's house the next morning after walking around Chicago all night, Molly becomes impressed that Mike has done some real exercise. Mike takes his fitness more seriously and he offers to help Samuel out in the diner.
