The Legion of Super-Heroes of the 31st century traveled back to the early 21st century to try to find Superman for help of against powerful group of super-villains in their era. Unfortunately, they traveled too far back and instead finding a young Clark Kent who haven't assume his Superman identity yet. Taking him back to their future, Clark embracing his destiny and helps the Legion in fighting evil like Emerald Empress and upholding the laws of the United Planets before he can return to his own time. A new beginning for the Legions on the second season of the show. With Clark returns to the 21st century and began his role as the Man of Steel, The Legions realizes that they still need Superman within their rank. Enter a mysterious Kryptonian from the 41st century, appears to the be the clone of Superman, arrives to the 31st century to aid the Legions.

Legion of Super Heroes Grows Up

The second season of the animated series Legion of Super Heroes premieres tomorrow (Saturdays, 11 am/ET, The CW), but don’t expect it to look much like the first. Picking up several years later, Superman is a little bit older and has definitely started to fill out his spandex. “This is more of a classic Superman,” says producer James Tucker. “He’s not going to be the scrawny kid from the first season.” The basic format of the series, which is based on DC Comics characters, is still the same: The young Man of Steel is once again plucked from the present day by the Legion – a fledgling group of young crime-fighters from the 31st Century – to add muscle to their intergalactic squad. Sagwa (a kitten), her siblings, and her parents are owned by a Chinese official called "The Foolish Magistrate" (since he tends to make laws and proclamations rather grandiosely and illogically) in 19th Century China. She and her parents are "scribe" cats, who transcribe the magistrate's words to paper in beautiful calligraphy. The series begins by showing how Sagwa came to the magistrates favor by negating one of his foolish laws at the same time ink-staining her face to appear as a Siamese cat. She has many adventures with her siblings, her friend Fufu (a bat), and the local village cats who don't live as luxuriously as her and her family.
