The fourth season of Fringe finds Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson) in quite a predicament in the prime universe after he returns from the parallel universe, where he sacrificed himself in order to save both worlds. Neither Olivia (Anna Torv) or his father Walter (John Noble) have any recollection that Peter ever existed. Meanwhile, shapeshifters initiate a reign of destruction upon both universes, leaving prime and parallel worlds to unite against a common enemy.
