Former Fat Actress Kirstie Alley has inked a development deal with Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Productions. The actress, who recently left her role as spokeswoman for Jenny Craig, is discussing various TV projects with Oprah's company, including a possible talk show, says Variety.Alley has appeared on Oprah's talk show several times over the years, including her famous disrobing after her weight loss, in which she strutted her stuff in a bikini. She says she hopes to create "something totally fresh" from the development relationship. That's what Kirstie Alley tells People magazine there is of Showtime renewing her comedy Fat Actress now that she's dropped 50 lbs. "I think [the network execs] have great concerns about me not being fat," she told the periodical. With all due apologies to those of you who may be eating breakfast, I think the suits may have been more concerned that the show left an aftertaste as bad as a plate of day-old French fries.
