This documentary series tries to provide a different view of murderers by interviewing the people in their lives. Each episode features a different killer, with loved ones trying to shed light on the reasons that might have driven him or her to murder, and describeing how their lives have been changed. The killers featured in Season 1 include: Robert Hawkins, who his father and stepmother describe as being different since he was a boy and who went on killing eight people in a mall in Nebraska before committing suicide, and Richard Paul White, who in 2003 was arrested for raping, torturing and killing at least three women.
