Season 2 of the show follows the Persons clan as they continue to come together as a family and deal with life's ups and downs. Things kick off with Nick (Terry Crews) landing a job as a sports anchor at a local TV station, and the need for Suzanne (Essence Atkins) to adapt to Nick's new gig. Other happenings involve Lindsey (Teala Dunn) as she comes of age, including her interest in boys, her attempt at passing the driving test and her first exposure to drugs. And Kevin (Coy Stewart) deals with obstacles of his own, including trouble after he lands a modeling deal, issues with a bully and a Valentine's Day faux pas. Many stars had cameos during this run of episodes, including Deion Sanders, Todd Bridges, Jerry Springer, Paulina Porizkova, Heavy D and Kandi Burruss.
