The life of a teenage girl is explored in a series that began on radio in 1941 and, in 1948, was made into a movie with Jane Powell and Elizabeth Taylor. There are two TV versions. The first starred Patricia Crowley as Judy. A year later the show was almost entirely recast, with Mary Linn Beller in the title role.
