Colton Underwood Begins His Tour as The Bachelor in January!

Get your roses and rosé ready because Colton Underwood will officially begin his journey for love in the new year. The Bachelor Season 23 kicks off Monday, Jan. 7 at 8/7c on ABC.

Underwood was a shocking choice to be the Bachelor after coming in fourth on Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette. His tenure on the show was a bit of a rollercoaster because he dated Kufrin's friend and fellow Bachelor alum Tia Booth before coming on the show. After initially denying there was anything left between them, Booth returned after the home visits to tell Kufrin that she still had intense feelings for Underwood... and Kufrin sent him home at the next rose ceremony.

A month later, Underwood decided to try his luck out on Bachelor in Paradise where he and Booth gave it another shot. It looked like they might make it to a happy ending, but Underwood got cold feet right before the fantasy suites and left Booth and the resort behind.

Bachelor Nation was overwhelmingly in favor of Bachelorette third place contestant Jason Tartick in our poll with runner up Blake Horstmann coming in second place. Underwood was announced as the next Bachelor in September, and hopefully will have gotten over his commitment issues when trying to find his potential wife.

Of course, everyone is waiting to see how the fantasy suite dates will work out as Underwood confessed during his season on The Bachelorette that he's a virgin. So expect that to be the major storyline this season. Get ready for the drama!
