Leah Murphy (Tessa Ferrer) makes her much-anticipated return to Grey Sloan on this week's episode of Grey's Anatomy, and to say her former colleagues are surprised by her arrival would be an understatement.
Remember, Murphy was fired for gross incompetence and filed a sexual harassment claim against Callie (Sara Ramirez).
So she's not exactly welcomed back with open arms. We'll see Leah and Arizona's (Jessica Capshaw) awkward reunion play out in Thursday's episode — and possibly turn into something more down the road — but we'll also find out that Leah's determination to get back in Grey Sloan's good graces is actually motivated by a different doctor.
While Leah seems to have matured in some ways, her tendency to become infatuated with her superiors is the same as it ever was.
