Wondering what deals and bundles are out there to lower your Disney Plus subscription cost? Look no further. We've got you covered with all things Disney Plus deals and bundles.

Searching for a way to lower your Disney+ subscription cost? You're in luck – not only are there a variety of promotional discounts, but you can also bundle the service with other streaming platforms to save big on your monthly payments. Whether you're looking to subscribe long-term or just need a cheap way to watch a few new shows, here are the best Disney+ discounts, bundles, and free trials currently available.
Do you love Disney films and TV shows? You're not alone. Disney Plus launched in late 2019 and has already pulled in more than 116 million subscribers. It's popularity is largely due to its exclusive access to Disney classics, and the catalog continues to expand on a regular basis with the addition of new original shows and movies. We're talking fan-favorite cartoons from the 1980's and 1990's, recent live-action sitcoms, and brand-new animated movies that are designed for all ages. You can even stream shows and movies simultaneously with up to six other people in other locations using a feature called GroupWatch.
While the low monthly cost of $8 per month is already pretty affordable, there are a few ways to cut down the costs even more. Arguably the best way is to simply combine your Disney+ subscription with two other popular platforms – Hulu and ESPN+. You may also be able to score deals with certain cell phone plans or other partnerships.
However, Disney+ is rather stingy when it comes to one-off discounts and promotions. The service had no problems crossing the 100 million subscriber threshold, and until there's a decline in its viewership, expect deals to remain scarce. Having said that, there are still a few good ways to lower your monthly Disney+ membership costs. Let's take a closer look at every current promotion:
Unfortunately, Disney+ no longer offers a free trial. The platform gave new users a seven-day trial when they first launched, but the deal went away in mid-2020. For now, you'll have to give the service a go for at least one month before you cancel. The good news is that, provided you don't choose the annual plan, you can binge your favorites for 30 days for just $8 and then cancel the service.
Disney+ doesn't yet have a ton of bundle deals. In fact, there is just one. However, the deal that exists is pretty stellar. You get access to three popular platforms at a significant discount. Given that Disney+ is a relatively new service, keep your eyes peeled for new bundles moving forward.
The Disney+ bundle, as the company calls it, combines three platforms. It's even available for customers who already subscribe to Hulu or ESPN+, and you can easily switch your service over to the bundle. Here are the details you need to know.
The bundle costs $14 per month. This saves you $6 per month compared to buying subscriptions to each platform separately. The standard bundle includes Disney+, ad-supported Hulu, and ESPN+. If you want to upgrade to the Hulu (No Ads) plan with the bundle, you'll pay $20 per month.
What are you getting with the bundle? A whole lot. Disney+ content includes movies like Soul, Hamilton, and Moana. You can also watch exclusive series like The Mandalorian and Be Our Chef. Hulu, either with ads or without them, has a huge on-demand library that combines network shows, cable programs, and original content. You can tune into your favorite network shows the day after they air live, including Good Girls on NBC and The Bachelor on ABC. You'll also find Hulu originals like Palm Springs and The Handmaid's Tale. ESPN+ has live sports as well as hosted programs. Stream events from UFC, MLS, Serie A, FA Cup, MLB, and the NHL. Then watch In the Crease with Linda Cohn and Barry Melrose or The Boardroom with Kevin Durant.
At a $6 savings per month, you'd save $72 per year if you pay monthly. If you pay for Disney+ with an annual plan at $80 per year, you will save an additional $16. If you're already subscribing to this content – or could get even just a few hours of use out of Hulu or ESPN+ – then we'd strongly consider checking out the bundle. Remember, there are no long-term agreements with this plan, and you can easily unsubscribe after a month if it's not a fit for your entertainment needs.
You can sign up for the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ as a new or existing customer. Disney will help you activate the bundle on Hulu and ESPN+ if you already have accounts on those platforms.
While the bundle mentioned above is the most enticing way to save on your Disney+ subscription, there are a few other niche savings available to customers. Here are two other deals to help you save big on your Disney+ bill.
If you're a Verizon customer, you can get six months of Disney+ for free by switching to select Unlimited plans (the Starter Unlimited and Do More Unlimited plans). After that you'll pay the regular Disney+ fee of $8 per month. Currently, you must sign up before May 31st, 2022 to take advantage of this deal.
You can also get the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle for free with select Unlimited plans. This includes smartphones with Unlimited Play More plan or Get More plan. The bundle remains free as long as you're with a qualifying plan, but you'll lose it if you ever downgrade your Verizon service. Free bundle service will save you at least $80 per year, the cost of a Disney+ annual plan.
The annual plan with Disney+ is only $80, essentially giving you two months for free. On the plus side, this saves you a few bucks. On the downside, you pay upfront, so if you decide Disney+ is not for you after a few months, you would have been better off paying monthly – Disney+ does not offer refunds for cancelling plans early. Keep in mind that paying annually also insulates you from price increases for at least one year. This alone makes an annual discounted plan worth it if you're certain you love Disney content enough to stick around.
How does Disney+ stack up against other streamers? There are pros and cons to Disney+ when compared to platforms like Paramount+ and Sling TV.
Paramount+ offers a seven-day free trial, which gives it an immediate advantage over Disney+. Students also get a 25% discount with Paramount+. In Disney's favor, Paramount+ doesn't offer a bundle that's as exciting as Disney's – Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ are a better deal than Paramount+ and Showtime. Paramount+ is also slightly cheaper, costing just $6 per month for a monthly plan as opposed to $8 for Disney+. Both platforms offer a similar annual discount; Paramount+ is just $60 for the year when paid at once (the equivalent of two months free, equal to Disney+'s discount).
Both Disney+ and HBO Max are on-demand streaming services from media powerhouses with content libraries full of well-known characters, titles, and franchises. At $10 per month, the HBO Max ad-supported plan is comparable to a Disney+ subscription, but for an ad-free experience on HBO Max, users will have to upgrade to a $15 per month plan. While Disney+ has the stronger collection of family friendly content, HBO Max has titles for the whole family, from Sesame Street to the Justice League, but is missing hugely popular titles like The Mandalorian or WandaVision on Disney+.
If you're looking to get the most out of your money, the Disney+ bundle with Hulu and ESPN+ is your best option. Across the three unique platforms, you'll have access to thousands of hours of content. Sports, Disney originals, iconic TV shows, and the latest network series are all available with the surprisingly frugal bundle. You'll also benefit from the lack of long-term commitments – making it easy to back out if you decide the service isn't working for you.
It's a bit unfortunate that Disney+ doesn't offer a free trial, but if you sign up for one month and cancel a few weeks later, you'll only be out $8 for your time. Lifelong Disney fans have nothing to worry about – the platform is filled to the brim with classic movies, new arrivals, and even hosts a bunch of Star Wars and Marvel content – and can save a bunch of cash immediately by opting for an annual plan.
