This 41-minute wartime documentary was a joint effort of the Women's Army Corps and the U.S. Signal Corps. Lensed in Technicolor, the film is highlighted by an authentic tank battle, which is over all too quickly. Also shown are the tireless efforts of the Red Cross to minister to the wounded under the most trying of battle-condition circumstances. There are also a few propaganda shots of the troops enjoying a warm Thanksgiving dinner. Though no director is credited for At the Front in North Africa, Commander John Ford makes a cameo appearance, together with 20th Century-Fox chieftain Darryl F. Zanuck (even though the film was released by Warner Bros!)
