A Shine of Rainbows

In this touching drama, 8-year-old Irish orphan Tomas (John Bell) is adopted by a woman who shows him plenty of kindness, but her husband Alec is disappointed in his frail new son. Tomas struggles to live up to Alec's expectations and adapt to his new surroundings, but then he finds a baby seal on the beach and begins caring for the abandoned animal, showing it the compassion he's longed for in his own life. Directed by Vic Sarin.
