The trailer for Girls' upcoming fourth season is here and it seems, despite moving to Iowa, nothing has really changed for Hannah (Lena Dunham).
Andrew Rannells is breaking out the glitter and nail polish for his upcoming stint as the title character in Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway. A new promo poster shows Rannells, who will take over the role from Neil Patrick Harrisbeginning Aug. 20, in character as Hedwig, the East German transgender rock star at the center of the musical. His look features red shimmering lipstick, blue eye shadow and nails to match.
Hannah's (Lena Dunham) gay ex-boyfriend and ex-roommate, Elijah (Andrew Rannells), ousted himself from the group at the end of Season 2, and now he's back, making his return to Girls on Sunday, Feb. 16 (10/9c, HBO). I have been watching it since the beginning and think that the end of "The Desert" episode gave the show some good material and direction for the rest of the season. It has become so funny, and the chemistry between Mindy Kaling and Chris Messina is great. I would hate for this show to not get a chance to show what it can do. I'm not sure how long a show has to be on the air to be syndicated, but I think that would help the ratings, too. — Meg
