Question: Do you have any ...
Question: Do you have any real dirt on Lost? — Rena Ausiello: Claire's new demon spawn will flip out on May 4.
Question: Do you know if ...
Question: Do you know if anyone is going to die on the Charmed finale? — Robbie Ausiello: Brad Kern says there could be "multiple deaths" in the season ender. Of course, this is Charmed, so, well, you know.
Question: I read in the USA ...
Question: I read in the USA Today that Charmed is a shoo-in for renewal. Is this true? — Ellen Ausiello: Far from it. Not sure who USA Today got their information from, but the Charmed Ones are far from guaranteed a job next season. In fact, just last night exec producer Brad Kern dropped me an e-mail with this plea to fans: "The network loves Charmed creatively and have been especially happy with it this season, but whether we come back or not still all boils down to ratings — which means it's up to the fans. If they all tune in and watch the last couple of episodes, I believe that'll raise our numbers enough to push us over the edge and force the WB to pick us up for an 8th season." Translation: The 3.2 million who turned out for last Sunday's fresh episode ain't cuttin' it.
Question: Hot tip: Wax before ...
Question: Hot tip: Wax before wearing a thong or Speedo. — Kelly Bean Ausiello: For the last time, that picture was manipulated!
Question: Now that Tru ...
Question: Now that Tru Calling has rewound its last day and Eliza Dushku is available, would a Faith TV-movie (or even spin-off!) be a possibility again? — Simon Ausiello: Anything's a possibility I suppose. I think it's more likely that Eliza would pop up as a semiregular on That '70s Show next season, but you didn't hear that from me.
Question: I think you are a ...
Question: I think you are a very funny man. You got great answers. Why don't you come over here and be a talk-show host. Because I don't think they notice your talent in the USA. And we love hosts with humor and you can say everything here! I know a perfect show for you here in The Netherlands. So, wattaya say? — Yolanda Ausiello: Is this to host that update of Staatsloterij Muziekland? Because I already got offered that and passed. Without getting into the specifics, we just couldn't come to terms on my perk package.
Question: Dude, seriously, ...
Question: Dude, seriously, you need to make one of these other networks pick up Dead Like Me, or, so help me, I'll turn it into the next Tru Calling, where you'll be getting stupid questions about a ('scuse the horrible pun) dead show for years after its expiration. You've been warned. Oh, and love the column. Keep up the good work. But seriously, you've been warned. — Mike K. Ausiello: For the record, I don't respond to threats. Off the record, you gotta give me more time, man. I'm doing the best I can.
Question: I stopped receiving ...
Question: I stopped receiving your daily e-mails about a week or so ago. What happened? How do I get back on your list? Thanks. — Nathan Rapoport Ausiello: Kate, can you please look into this for Nathan, or should I just continue to do everything around here?
Question: A little birdie ...
Question: A little birdie told me that this season of Survivor will be the last. What does your magic crystal ball say to that? — Kay Ausiello: It says your little birdie's been raiding Paula Abdul's medicine cabinet.
Question: What is your ...
Question: What is your favorite meal to compliment your favorite Snapple? — Sarah Ausiello: A Yogurt Honey Peanut-flavored Balance Bar.
Question: Hey, Mike. Just ...
Question: Hey, Mike. Just testing our feedback forms. Some people say they're getting an error that their comments are too long, but I don't know which form they're using. — Kate Robinson, Director of Internet Production, TVGuide.com Ausiello: Well, this one came through the system without incident. Are you gonna investigate this further or should I just continue to do everything around here? Just let me know.
Question: Any news on Amy ...
Question: Any news on Amy Sherman-Palladino's negotiations with WB? Please say a contract's been hammered out and she'll be around through Gilmore Girls' final episode. — Julie Ausiello: I hear things are looking very promising. (Phew!)
Question: I heard someone's ...
Question: I heard someone's gonna die on The O.C. — Bridget Ausiello: It's true. My colleague Rochell Thomas thinks Linda Lavin's Nana is gonna kick the bucket, but my money's on Caleb. Consider the facts: The dude's already suffered a heart attack this season. Caleb's portrayer, Alan Dale, has been cast in a WB pilot, Bow. His death would make Julie heir to his fortune, setting up scads of juicy story possibilities as we head into fall. And last but not least, Gramps is a little old for The O.C. But that's just a guess.
Question: Is it true that ...
Question: Is it true that Oliver is coming back to The O.C.? — Bec Ausiello: You mean the character formerly known as Josh Schwartz's Shameless Plot Device? Sadly, yes, I'm hearing he's coming back — and suffice it to say I'm not happy. The O.C. came thisclose to jumping the you-know-what when they introduced Marissa's deranged rehab buddy last season, and I thought Josh had learned his lesson. Luckily, it appears Ollie is just returning for the final episode, which, coincidentally, finds Seth, Summer, Marissa and Ryan caught in some kind of crossfire at the Bait Shop. Great, not only is Psycho Boy back, but someone went and gave him a gun?!?!
Question: Mike, I've read ...
Question: Mike, I've read your column since it's infancy and if you don't tell me who is leaving Scrubs... well I'll still read it, but not as much. — Chase Ausiello: For the record, I don't respond to threats. Off the record, given their current marital woes, I'm guessing it's either Carla or Turk. But remember, just because someone's bolting Sacred Heart, that doesn't mean they're bolting the show.
Question: Hey! I saw you on ...
Question: Hey! I saw you on the TV Guide Channel! Anyhoo, do you know what'll happen in the season finale of CSI: Miami? — Annie Ausiello: As I mentioned in last week's AA, Calleigh (Emily Procter) gets assaulted at a crime scene, which leads her to quit ballistics by episode's end. What I didn't mention is that the episode will also feature a CSI semiregular committing suicide in the crime lab itself. Also, Horatio will finally take his hands off his hips long enough to meet his previously-believed-to-be-dead brother Raymond.
Question: When is the new ...
Question: When is the new season of The Sopranos supposed to start? My veal and lasagna are getting cold! — Eric Wiegand Ausiello: Stick 'em in the oven on low heat until April '06, 'cause that's when the new season starts.
Question: That's great news ...
Question: That's great news about Veronica Mars getting renewed. Now, the only question is, what could they possibly do for Season 2? — Robert Ausiello: Let's ask Kristen Bell, who spoke to TVGuide.com over the weekend. After confirming news of the show's renewal, Bell teased Mars' season finale and hinted at what's to come next fall. "There's a cliff-hanger at the end of this season, and it's not related to any of the questions that have been posed already," she said. "But it will make you want to see the first episode of next season to see what the answer is. But that's not the arc of the season. Next season, as far as I'm aware, the first couple of scenes will answer what the cliff-hanger was and the last couple of scenes will give you what the next year-long mystery is." Bell also teased that the rape mystery will be resolved "by Episode 20, which is the second-to-last ep
Question: Tell us if Mac and ...
Question: Tell us if Mac and Harm are finally gonna get it on in JAG's series finale? — J Ausiello: As revealed in an upcoming, spoiler-rich issue of TV Guide, their future will be determined by a coin toss. Seriously.
Question: I never see ...
Question: I never see anything about NCIS in your column. I love the show. Do you know if it has been picked up for next season? — Catherine Ausiello: It's a lock for renewal. And the reason you don't see much about the show in AA is because, well, to be honest, my mailbox isn't exactly overflowing with NCIS-related queries.
Question: Did anyone ever ...
Question: Did anyone ever tell you that you look a little like Travis Wester from Euro Trip? — Dan Ausiello: No, but I'll add it to the list.
