Any chance we'll see Marty ...
Question: Any chance we'll see Marty appear on Gilmore Girls this season? Answer: As of now, no. But for $10, you can get a quick Marty (aka Wayne Wilcox) fix in the movie version of Rent. He plays a member of an AIDS support group and, boy, can he carry a tune.
How will Reunion tie up the ...
Question: How will Reunion tie up the murder mystery now that the show has been canceled? Answer: Funny story. Producers released a statement Friday saying Samantha's killer will never be revealed because "the events of Samantha's murder are partially reliant on characters we haven't yet met — and events we haven't yet seen. There is no way to solve the mystery of her murder without being able to complete the full arc of our story through present day. I greatly regret that this question, along with many others that the series has posed, will remain unsolved, and I am deeply grateful for the support of viewers who share this regret." I guess that's not so much funny as infuriating.
Anything big planned for ...
Question: Anything big planned for Alias' 100th episode? Answer: More like huge. I don't know the specifics yet, but I hear producers are pulling out all the stops (read: bringing back all your faves) for the milestone episode, which starts shooting on Feb. 22. Oh, and a little birdie just told me the exact day Michael Vartan's Aussie action flick, Rogue, wraps: Feb. 10. Talk about perfect timing.
I thought you might like to ...
Question: I thought you might like to know, the back of the box for Gilmore Girls Season 5 on DVD totally blurbs you. Answer: I know! I couldn't believe it! Hey, if you should ever spot me at a Best Buy or Target, I'd totally be willing to pose for a picture in front of the display. Seriously.

Question: "Please do not reveal who has been [bound] to the [flag] pole, any [medical] issues, the [prom baby's] identity or [parentage], the reveal of who [played] whom to get [ahead] in the end, or the episode's final surprise ending." Answer: I stand corrected. Wow, Jen, you nailed every single one. That's amazing! You're a genius! Send me your address and I'll get that Mars swag off to you ASAP. Congrats!

Question: Give us some WWE Smackdown scoop! Just kidding. Answer: If you're going to make a lame joke, at the very least get your facts straight. The show is called Friday Night Smackdown!
Please give me some dirt on ...
Question: Please give me some dirt on Grey's Anatomy. I especially want to know if Alex has totally blown it with Izzie. Granted, he did screw up royally by hooking up with that nurse, but I still love them together! Answer: There are rumblings that a big episode is coming up for these two in late January, right around Super Bowl time. (Hint, hint...)
Is there a reason ABC has ...
Question: Is there a reason ABC has stopped showing the opening credits of Desperate Housewives? Answer: A Desperate rep cites timing issues. Apparently, the episodes have been running long and something had to go. I don't know about you guys, but I'd be OK losing a few Susan scenes if it meant getting the opening back.
What are you doing for ...
Question: What are you doing for Christmas? Answer: Hopefully, opening lots of presents from AA readers.
I will forgive you for taking ...
Question: I will forgive you for taking a week off if you answer my question: Will Rose and Bernard ever have a flashback episode on Lost? Answer: Good question! Let's ask exec producer Carlton Cuse. "Given the road map for the rest of the season, we're not going to get to their flashback this year," he says. "But next season? Let's just say it's a very real possibility." Interesting footnote: If you say that last sentence backwards, this is what you'll hear, "Hurry up and pre-order the new Ask Ausiello Ringer Tee exclusively at the TV Guide Store!" This show is outta control!

Any scoop on CSI: Miami?
Question: Any scoop on CSI: Miami? Answer: That creepy Walter Resden will be back this February to terrorize Horatio some more. And speaking of that flame-haired, hands-on-hipster, pick up the new issue of TV Guide to find out which CSI's sister he's going to start shagging early next year.
Now that Mariska Hargitay is ...
Question: Now that Mariska Hargitay is pregnant, how will it affect SVU? Will it be written into the script? Answer: No, Olivia won't be with child. Despite what Marish told me back in July, exec producer Neal Baer says "we just decided that Olivia isn't ready to have a child yet. We didn't want to complicate her life with an infant." Fortunately, with my godson (or goddaughter) not due until spring, Baer says he has Marish for the entire season — save for those damn "tandem" episodes. Me no like those.
As much as I love VM and ...
Question: As much as I love VM and Lost, I'm really curious if you've got any Supernatural scoop. Answer: Some cool guest stars coming up. William B. Davis — aka X-Files' Cigarette Smoking Man — will play a possibly evil professor on Jan. 10. And the following week, Angel alum Julie Benz drops in as Layla, a woman with a brain tumor who seeks out a definitely evil reverend known for curing the incurable.

Question: Is the National Enquirer story true about Desperate Housewives' Bree being killed off? Answer: Here's a shocker: It's not true!
Didn't you promise us an ...
Question: Didn't you promise us an Emily VanCamp interview? Answer: Oh, frak. I knew I forgot something.
Hope your time off went well. ...
Question: Hope your time off went well. Can you give us some Law & Order: SVU scoop please? Answer: Neal Baer says an upcoming episode "will revisit Benson's past again. She will reveal to a victim something that she's never [told anyone] before. It [concerns] her mother." Also in early '06, Tamara Tunie's medical examiner will get out of the morgue long enough to play detective alongside Chris Meloni's Stabler, and Lost's Malcolm David Kelley will guest-star in an episode that also marks the return of Annie Potts. Lastly, Baer says Benson and Stabler "will have a story where they take stock of their seven years together." These two need to stop taking stock and start getting a room.
No! Prison Break can't go on ...
Question: No! Prison Break can't go on hiatus. Can you give us some spoilers? Is Abruzzi really dead? Answer: My gut is telling me Abruzzi is definitely not dead. Although the original plan clearly called for the scruffy mob mole to get shipped off to the big house in the sky, judging by what I saw on screen and the open-ended way the character's fate was left, I'm willing to bet my entire set of 2005 Smurfs that producers granted Abruzzi a last-minute stay of execution with the intention of bringing him back before the season is finished. Adding fuel to my theory: PB executive producer Paul Scheuring declined to discuss the matter with me over the phone, and a show spokesperson issued a stern, "No comment." T-Bag, however, released this statement: "S---, I'm a dead man!"
Your Veronica Mars "contest" ...
Question: Your Veronica Mars "contest" was not easy, but here's my best guess: "As a mystery series, there are a couple of reveals in this episode that we would like to keep secret from viewers. In this spirit, we ask that you please not reveal who has been [taped] to the [flag] pole, any [adoption] issues, the [baby's] identity or [father], the reveal of who [uses] whom to get [the job of the principal] in the end or the episode's final surprise ending."Answer: Close but no swag — sorry, Keely. And you're right, this "contest" was not easy — damn near impossible, some might say. In retrospect, I don't know how anyone could possibly have guessed all of the words correctly. I'll try and make these a little easier in the future.
Any news on who's in talks to ...
Question: Any news on who's in talks to star in Aaron Sorkin's new NBC show? Someone must be talking. Answer: Someone is talking, and luckily to me. Sources confirm that Sorkin has approached — brace yourselves for some serious scoopage — former Friend Matthew Perry to headline Studio 7 on the Sunset Strip, which revolves around the behind-the-scenes goings-on at a Saturday Night Live-type sketch show. I'm also hearing that Sorkin has put feelers out to a big-name female to play the show's co-lead. (Hint: She shares the same first name as a legendary Melrose Place vixen, and her last name rhymes with "heat.")
