Hello. Can you tell me when ...
Question: Hello. Can you tell me when the movie The Hills Have Eyes airs and what station it is on? Answer: Sure, but first can you tell me the name and address of the mental institution you escaped from?
Is Shannen Doherty going to ...
Question: Is Shannen Doherty going to come back for the series finale of Charmed? Answer: I have it on good authority that she will be back… once hell freezes over. "There's no shot [of her returning]," insists executive producer Brad Kern. "I just don't think… [Hesitating] I just… [Nervous laughter]… in the abstract, it would be fabulous to try to get Shannen back for the last episode, but it just doesn't seem — for a lot of reasons — that it's something that we could ever pursue."
One Tree Hill — staying or ...
Question: One Tree Hill — staying or going? Answer: Probably going, unless enough of you sign this online petition.
I think I have the answer to ...
Question: I think I have the answer to last week's asterisk quiz. Did you hop on a plane to Los Angeles to "audition for a Smallville cameo"? Answer: Nope, but you got three out of five correct.
OK, so we know the Hobbit ...
Question: OK, so we know the Hobbit made the ultimate sacrifice on Monday's 24, but did Tony die as well? Couldn't quite tell from the closing scene. Answer: Yeah, Tony's toast. Carlos Bernard confirms it himself in the new issue of TV Guide, saying, “Creatively, the writers have done all they could do with Tony.”
Is it just me or does Lauren ...
Question: Is it just me or does Lauren Graham just get hotter with age? Answer: It's not just you. Sitting next to a major celebrity wasn't the only pleasant surprise I got during my flight to Los Angeles last Wednesday (for more on that, click here). About an hour before the plane landed, I was just bored enough to pull out the latest issue of American Airlines' AmericanWay magazine and what to my wandering eye should appear but the most gorgeous photo of Lauren Graham that I have ever seen. That alone is reason to fly AA during the month of March. (Unfortunately, the photo they used of her on the inside may very well qualify as the worst LG pic ever. The editor who chose that image should be fired and stepped on — and in that order.)
Grimace? I would have gone ...
Question: Grimace? I would have gone with Special Sausiello. Answer: If I wasn't choking on my own bile right about now, I'd be buying tickets to your next Catskills engagement.
Before I tell you what you'll...
Before I tell you what you'll find in my exclusive interview with Gilmore Girls CEO Amy Sherman-Palladino below, let me tell you what you won't: Any mention of the growing (at least based on the Ask Ausiello feedback I've been receiving) fan backlash involving a certain long-lost "turtle" named April and the tension her presence is creating between Luke and Lorelai. Judge me and my interview skills all you want, but I just didn't go there. That heated discussion would have hijacked the entire interview and, as a result, compromised my primary mission: to seize as much prattle as I could about this season's final six episodes, the show's future on CW and Team Palladino's highly publicized contract talks. Also, in the spirit of full disclosure, as much as I worship the ground AS-P

Any idea when we will see ...
Question: Any idea when we will see another Locke flashback on Lost? Answer: It's scheduled to air March 29. Save the date!
Do you have any more info on ...
Question: Do you have any more info on Milo's new NBC pilot, Heroes? Answer: Check out last week's Ausiello Report for some serious Heroes worship.
A dear friend whom I ...
Question: A dear friend whom I introduced to the world of Ask Ausiello just gave me the best birthday gift that only true fans would understand: An AA T-shirt. I am so excited to wear it! Answer: Another glowing testimonial. Keep 'em coming, folks!
Can I please have some NCIS ...
Question: Can I please have some NCIS scoop, poop, prattle!? Answer: The rumors are true. Exec producer Don Bellisario confirms that "at the end of the season someone will be leaving NCIS." (And before you ask, I don't know who it is.) Meanwhile, here's a little Mark Harmon prattle. We're going to get a rare glimpse of his '80s stint on Flamingo Road when They Started on Soaps 6 airs in May on SoapNet.
I'll keep trying to get you ...
Question: I'll keep trying to get you to give me some scoop on Chloe on Smallville. Answer: We can count on her to crack the code of those symbols that keep flashing in Lionel’s eyes — and the message she discovers is not a good one.
Are Chloe and Clark going to ...
Question: Are Chloe and Clark going to hook up on Smallville, given the fact that the story between Clark and Lana is over? Answer: Over? Tell that to Clark. As things between Lana and Lex heat up, Superman is going to morph into Stalkerman.
I never see any scoop on The ...
Question: I never see any scoop on The O.C. in AA. Got anything? Answer: Never? You have some serious short-term memory issues, Katie. My Jan. 11 column was brimming with O.C. scoopage. But since you asked, yes, I do have something: Ryan is getting a new love interest. Her name is Chloe and she's a waitress he meets while trying to track down his white-trash mama. Meanwhile, Julie's gonna wish Marissa knew how to quit Volchok.
Only something like nine ...
Question: Only something like nine episodes of Everwood aired so far this season, so how does WB plan on airing all 22 episodes if it's not returning until March 27? Answer: Lots of back-to-back episodes.
OMGICBTKE on 24! I totally ...
Question: OMGICBTKE on 24! I totally didn't see that coming. Answer: Yeah, poor Edgar. I mean, what a way to go. The look on Chloe's face when she realized her buddy was doomed broke my heart. And I loved how they silenced the beeping clock in the closing seconds — totally added to the impact.
Is Leo (Brian Krause) coming ...
Question: Is Leo (Brian Krause) coming back for the series finale of Charmed? Answer: Actually, huge prattle: He'll be back for the final two. The deal closed yesterday.
Any scoop on the new season ...
Question: Any scoop on the new season of The Sopranos, other than the fact that they are going to make us wait in agony for the second part of the season? Answer: I watched the first four episodes over the weekend and now I know the big twist David Chase and HBO were desperately trying to keep a lid on — and it's huge. Actually, this Sunday's episode contains three major jolts, the first of which comes in the opening five minutes (the current Newsweek spoils it, but I'm not going there). HBO will take a bat to my kneecaps if I say anything else. But who am I kidding, I'd gladly lose my legs for you guys. Some other scoop: The March 19 episode contains a Smurf reference, not to mention enough golden materi
Please tell me something ...
Question: Please tell me something interesting — I mean leave-me-on-the-edge-of-my-seat interesting — is going to happen on Lost sometime soon. Answer: When Hurley flashes back to his mental-institution days next month, we're going to meet an old friend of his who looks a lot like Charlotte's husband on Sex and the City.
Could one of your nicknames ...
Question: Could one of your nicknames have been Big Boy? You do sort of look like him. I think it's the eyebrows. Answer: You're getting colder. And for the record, I just got these bad boys plucked on Friday, and it was not pretty. If Jack Bauer runs out of torture techniques, he should get himself a pair of tweezers and go to town. Those terrorists would fess up in a second.
