Charisma Carpenter fell under the Supernatural casting department's spell when they asked her to play a witch, but the real magic happened once she found out who would play her on-screen husband. "I got a call from my manager saying that there was interest from Supernatural inviting me to do an episode," Carpenter tells TVGuide.com. "I thought that was a great idea and went forward with it. And then I found out after that James [Marsters] was going to be part of it too, and then it just got super tasty."

Relative newcomer Taylor Wily has become a familiar face on Hawaii Five-0, even if that face has been superimposed on the body of a shrimp. The former sumo wrestler and Hawaii native plays Kamekona, an island local who sometimes acts as an informant for  Five-0 when he's not pursuing his own entrepreneurial endeavors. His latest venture is running a shrimp truck, which is adorned with graphics of disconcerting Kamekona-shrimp hybrids. Using his own image has been one of Kamekona's marketing ploys since the beginning of the series when he printed his face on t-shirts to advertise his shave ice business.

And it all begins with squeezing into the historically accurate underwear. "We have these undergarments that we wear, a girdle and a longline bra," Ricci told reporters in September. "The girdle keeps you from being able to do anything boyish like run or jump or take any large flights of stairs. The longline is a bra attached to a mini-corset so it basically makes you stand up really, really straight. ... You have to walk like a lady at all times, so immediately you're just put into this mindset of 'I'm a lady. I sit a certain way. I walk a certain way.'"

Eating brains was only part of the pleasure for Jewel Staite when she guest-starred on Friday's episode of The CW's Supernatural (9/8c). "I saw that Jensen [Ackles] was directing," Staite tells TVGuide.com. "He's an old friend of mine, so I thought, 'Ooooh, fun! That would be great.' Luckily it all worked out. When you get on a show where one of the actors is directing, it can go either way. Sometimes they can stress out if they have too much on their plate, but he was so calm and so cool and so collected. He just really impressed me. We had some days we didn't even go the full 12 hours of shooting. We were let out early because he knew exactly what he wanted and when he got it, he moved on."

There are moments in the next few episodes where Nikita tries to help Alex, and there's moments where Alex warns Nikita about things."
