Episode 1

Dr. Bigot

Magilla Gorilla, whose exercise on the treadmill powers the flying ark, runs out of bananas. And when Magilla runs out of bananas, the ark runs out of power. Soon the flying ark is a falling ark; but Yogi Bear and the crew are saved when the ark lands on a fountain in Mr. Cheerful's yard. Mr. Cheerful loves animals, and so he invites everyone to lunch. Unfortunately, hovering above is a black cloud, which conceals the airship of Dr. Bigot and his two henchman, Haggling and Bickering. Dr. Bigot wants to "bigotize" the world. To do this, he'll use his Mind Bending machine, which is powered by a box of hate and a tankful of prejudice. The machine emits a ray beam that can turn anyone into a hateful bigot.

Yogi Bear and the gang receive an invitation from Ranger Smith to attend a ceremony in which Jellystone Park will be named the neatest park in the west. When they arrive, they notice that the Ranger has not decorated the park for the festivities. The gang offers to do it themselves. The Ranger happily accepts. Little does he know that Lotta Litter, a villainess devoted to making the world her trashcan, has a sinister scheme to make the park the trashiest in the west. By changing her shape to resemble Magilla Gorilla, she convinces him to put all his trash in a pile, rather than look for a trashcan. The confused ape thinks he's talking to himself. Lotta pulls the same trick on Yogi and the others. Soon they've all taken the lazy way out of their work, and the park starts to look like a dump.

Captain Yogi Bear and his crew get an invitation from Cindy Bear to visit her dude ranch in Wyoming. When the gang arrives, they see Cindy needs to fix the place up. They offer to help. Unfortunately, Mr. Hothead, with his stooges, Temper and Tantrum, come upon the place; and Mr. Hothead decides the dude ranch should be a "rude ranch," the perfect "place to further the cause of encouraging hotheads." Posing as Mr. Coolhead, with his friends Nice and Easy, Hothead attempts to buy the place. Cindy would rather keep it. So Mr. Hothead undermines the gang's work by using his Hothead Zapper, which turns everyone into a short-tempered grouch. As new-made hotheads, Yogi's crew is unable to get along well enough to get any work done.
