Venice the Series

"Venice the Series," co-created by Crystal Chappell and Kim Turrisi, focuses on the life of Gina Brogno, a single, gay, self-made interior decorator living and working in Venice Beach, California. The plot follows Gina's human experience in connection with her various love interests, her brother Owen, her father "the Colonel," and a myriad of other characters who make up Gina's network of relationships. Gina is a strong, confident, complex career woman who navigates her relations with people through an intense yet thoughtful prism. The convergence of Gina's experiences with a progressive, bohemian, urban backdrop provides an electrifying plot journey. The storyline offers the best of traditional soap romance, love stories, tragic happenings, and hairpin turns, done in a new, savvy, edgy format with unique character development, diversity of character, and tantalizing plot portrayal.

Back in Venice Beach, Gina and her wife Ani stir up drama as familiar faces reunite and new characters join the mix, bringing unexpected twists to their coastal California world. Gina has landed a new job working for Le Monde Femme magazine as their Home and Architecture editor. Gina and Ani, the magazine's lead photographer, celebrate and talk about working together at the magazine. Zoe and Sarah talk and Zoe seems concerned that Sarah is not interested in any potential reunion between them. Lara, recently released from prison, receives upsetting news. Sarah accepts a job working as an assistant to her mother at the magazine. Ani brings up a subject that Gina is not so enamored with. Jamie shares a disturbing revelation with Gina and Ani and they make an offer to him to stay with them.
