Each episode typically features the preparation of two cakes for events including receptions, charity events and theme parties as well as weddings and birthdays.

Eight kid bakers contend for the title of Kids Baking Champion. Duff Goldman and Valerie Bertinelli lead these talented young bakers through tasty challenges designed to find the most impressive and creative baker.
