Episode 1
Random Acts of Kindness

Kurtan has a girlfriend Sophie so he has given up the idea of going to college; Kerry, inspired by Vicar Francis, has decided to perform acts of random kindness. The first is to replace Sluggs' broken Play-Station with her own, but he is less than appreciative so she decides to reconcile Kurtan with Sophie, who has dumped him. This is equally unsuccessful.

Threatening Letters

Somebody is pushing 'threatening' letters through Kerry's door, so she gets her friend Big Mand, an experienced stalker herself, to act as minder and locate the writer. When the sender, a besotted admirer, is revealed, she is mightily relieved--chiefly to be rid of Big Mand. Kurtan takes cash-in-hand work with Kerry's father on a building site, but he is picked on for being inept and his attempts to fit in end badly.

Minor Injuries

Kurtan's trip to TK Maxx in Swindon is put on hold when he and Francis accompany Kerry to A and E after she is injured at football training. He is phased to see that ex-girlfriend Sophie has moved on, and by a confrontation with Big Mand, and by the time Kerry is discharged he has missed the best bargains but Kerry is determined to turn her injury to her advantage.

The Vicar's Son

Vicar Francis bribes Kerry to make regular calls on elderly Florence, whose cat has just died. Initially bored, she starts to enjoy the visits when Florence feeds her better than her mother Sue does--until Sue finds out. Francis also charges Kurtan with befriending his son Jacob, who has returned from Bristol following addiction problems. Unfortunately, Jacob is still an alcoholic and Kurtan finds himself getting closer to his father rather than the son--especially when he learns that the vicar was once in a boy band.

Steam Fair

Kerry is depressed as it is her birthday and she has had no cards or Facebook messages--her father didn't even sign the card he brings her. However, Kurtan has a surprise for her: a trip to the annual steam fair. But he argues with the bus driver, so the pair must walk through supposedly-haunted woods to the event. There are no ghostly encounters, but they do get lost and miss the fair, so when they get home, Kurtan determines to make it up to his cousin, but how?

Family Loyalties

Kurtan gets a job as a steward at the local golf club while Kerry goes into business with her dad Martin, selling vacuum-cleaners from a lock-up rented in her name. Both are very happy in their work. Unfortunately, Kerry didn't ask Martin where the vacuums came from, and she is arrested. Her loyalty to her selfish father is not reciprocated and Kurtan is also implicated, having stored some of the stolen items for his cousin. The future looks bleak for them both.

Special - The Aftermath

A one-off special investigating the fallout of Kerry's criminal activity, 8 months after she became embroiled in her devious dad's plans. As the police net tightened, Kerry was left with a choice: save Martin or herself.
