Karen's departure leaves the family in debt. Dave can't afford the mortgage alone and may move in with Chi. They consult counselor Ruth, who suggests entrepreneurship. Dave considers asking his wealthy sister Claudia for help.

Ruth, a grief counselor, dismisses Chi's natural grief and assigns her to volunteer at a food bank. When Chi tells struggling Dave and Lucas about volunteering, she invites them along.

Episode 4

Get a GCSE

Chi questions her intelligence after annoying an electrician. Her grief counselor Ruth bluntly calls her simple and discourages education. Determined to prove Ruth wrong, Chi breaks into Ramsgate College.

Episode 5

Find a Life Partner

Chi's ghost parents urge her to find romance to avoid loneliness in death. She hands out her number everywhere in Ramsgate. Lucas gets a cinema job but can't handle tasks, sneaking candy under pressure from boss Kenneth.

Episode 6

Grow Up

The group goes trick-or-treating to help Chi release her childhood memories. Halloween brings grief, ghosts, and heartbreak.
