The Temptation of Jesus

The Temptation of Jesus tells the story of Jesus being tempted by the devil for 40 days and nights in the Judaean Desert.

Episode 2

The Story of Lot

The story of Lot explores what happened to Lot's life before and after the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Episode 3

The Story of Job

One day God boasts to Satan about Job's goodness, but Satan argues that Job is only good because God has blessed him abundantly. Satan challenges God that, if given permission to punish the man, Job will turn and curse God.

Episode 4

The Story of Ruth and Naomi

Naomi decides to return to Judah, having heard that the Lord had given food to her people in Bethlehem. She urges Ruth and Orpah (her daughters in law) to remain in Moab with their parental families.

Episode 5

The story of Hagar and The story of King David

Hagar escapes to the wilderness and nearly dies until an angel reveals her greater purpose. King David escapes to the Wilderness from the wrath of king Saul.

Apart from Jesus Christ, John the Baptist is the most theologically significant figure in the Gospels. His practice was to baptize those who responded to the message he proclaimed and sincerely repented of their sins.

The Story of Caine and Abel and Jacob vs the angel.

The story of Caine and Abel details the first murder to happen in the wilderness. Jacob wrestles the Angel in the wilderness in an act of redemption and received the name Israel, which means "he who wrestles with God."

The story of Moses explores the life of Moses who helps free the Israelite's from slavery in Egypt and wanders through the desert for 40 years until reaching the promised land

Episode 10

The story of Paul the apostle and Mary Mother of Jesus

St. Paul the Apostle is often considered to be the most important person after Jesus in the history of Christianity. Mary is the mother of Jesus as made pregnant miraculously by God while she was still a virgin.
