Episode 1
A fantastic shipwreck in the Øresund is the focal point of a new exhibition at the M/S Maritime Museum of Denmark, but the adventure ends abruptly when one of the divers on the project is found dead in the local diving club. Dan and Flemming must dig into the legends, not only about the ship, but also about the deceased himself. Dan has moved into the annex at Marianne and Flemming's place, while he longs for Josefine, who is still in Sweden with her ex-husband and stepsons.
Episode 2
An accident during the case shakes everyone at the station, but especially Dan, who dives deeper into solving the murder of Jeppe Nielsen. It will turn out that the figurehead is just the tip of the iceberg; beneath lies a treasure that several people want to get their hands on. But is the treasure also the key to the murder? A guest arrives unannounced at the Sommerdahl villa.
Episode 3
The neighbour of Helsingør Camping is found killed on his terrace after a barbecue dinner. But who did the deceased have dinner with? Dan and Flemming have to pay a visit to the campsite, and a multitude of conflicts soon surface between the residents and their wealthy deceased neighbour. The commune in the Sommerdahl villa has gained yet another set of members, and Dan enjoys that everyone is gathered.
Episode 4
The campsite is combed for clues, and the police scrutinize all alibis. The difference between the privileged life of the deceased and the campers' constant struggle becomes clearer and clearer. Dan and Co. are still searching for the stolen Madonna figure, and Nadia has to go undercover. An unexpected relationship may become the decisive piece in the investigation. Flemming steals the attention of the women in the commune, and Dan feels a familiar sting of jealousy bubbling to the surface.
Episode 5
Among relics of the past, an antique dealer is found shot in her own shop. The deceased withdrew a large sum of money the day before her death, and that leads Dan and Flemming onto the trail of a possible money motive, an unresolved debt, and terrible company. The police must turn over every single object involved in the case and receive help from the family. Hanegaard questions Dan's commitment to the station's green transition. Josefine and Flemming grow closer at home, which puts further pressure on Dan.
Episode 6
Dan and the team continue to look for answers as to who last saw the deceased antique dealer. A witness reports an argument around the time of the murder, but is it fact or a smokescreen? A chaotic family business and a debt continue to haunt in the background, and the police must dig further into the past to get to the bottom of the case. Blackmail may perhaps lead them to the murderer. Dan tries to get some time alone with Josefine.
Episode 7
The water polo tournament kicks off with the murder of the club's young coach and referee. Competition can drive people to ugly things, both in sports, love, and not least activism. But is everything really fair in love and climate war? The deceased's ex-boyfriend may lead the police closer to solving the case - provided they can find him. And can they get to the truth before the case blows up in their hands? New secrets and old feelings fill the commune in the Sommerdahl villa.
Episode 8
The activists lead the police onto the trail of a potentially crucial article. Ambitions at the Helsingør Daily are sky-high, but who is the judge of what is true and what is pure fiction? Perhaps the source behind it may become an asset for the investigation. Hanegaard's green efforts at the station are evaluated by the Chief of Police. A song haunts Dan and his relationship with Josefine, but will it let his emotions get the better of him?
