Psychological thriller centres on Mia living in Scotland, who has had problems with addiction, accepting a wedding invitation from her estranged sister in New Zealand. On arrival Mia learns her sister is dead. While grappling with grief and an attraction to her late sister's Fiancé she leans of tensions between environmentalists and the first people in the rugged mountain community.
