The Platinum Life offers a glimpse into the luxurious yet highly competitive world of a group of women connected with the American music industry – as wives or girlfriends of big-name artists or as artists in their own right. This group is made up of professional chef Asiah Collins, Kid Ink's wife; actress and entrepreneur Shantel Jackson, Nelly's girlfriend; singer-model Nazanin Mandi, Miguel's fiancée; YouTube cooking maven Crystal Smith, Ne-Yo's wife; comeback hip-hop artist LoLa Monroe, King Los' long-time girlfriend; singer-actress La'Myia Good, wife of Eric Bellinger; and singer Alycia Bellamy, the only single in the group.
