The Next List
The Next List is a 30-minute weekly show on CNN. It airs every Saturday at 2:30pm EST. Every week, the show profiles one person who has been identified as an innovative and creative thinker and who is making strides to change the world for the better. The title of the show, "The Next List," refers to a list of upcoming innovative and interesting people that each person is added to. Every episode features a new 'Next Lister' and his or her back story, the challenges they've overcome, and the creative ways in which they've contributed to society. Examples of some people featured on "The Next List" include magician and illusionist Marco Tempest, molecular gastronomy chef Homaro Cantu, ukulele virtuoso Jame Shimabukuro, and social robot engineer Heather Knight. The show is produced at CNN's New York offices in the Time Warner Center and is hosted by Dr. Sanjay Gupta.
