The New Catch 21
Each of the three contestants is dealt an initial card from a standard deck. Host Alfonso Ribeiro asks multiple-choice trivia questions. The first player to buzz in and answer correctly wins control of the next dealt card. The player in control can choose to add the new card to their own hand or force it onto an opponent to ruin their score or cause them to bust (exceed 21). Contestants can choose to freeze their hand at any point. Reaching exactly 21 wins the round instantly. After two rounds of play, the contestant with the lowest score is eliminated. The surviving champion plays against the dealer to build three separate blackjack hands. The winner earns "Power Chips" during the main game, which can be used to discard an unwanted card and draw a replacement. Getting 21 on one hand wins cash ($1,000 to $2,500), two hands increase the payout ($5,000), and hitting 21 on all three hands wins the grand prize of $25,000 (or $50,000 on special episodes).
