Will Arnett returns as Nathan Miller for the second and final season of this sitcom that focuses on a recently divorced man whose parents, Tom (Beau Bridges) and Carol (Margo Martindale), decide to end their 43-year marriage and move in with their adult children. Sean Hayes joins the show as a regular cast member this season as Kip, a man who Carol develops a close friendship with. Carol and Tom reconsider their divorce when it comes time to sign the papers, although Nathan and his sister (Jayma Mays) have doubts about their reconciliation. As usual, the Millers find themselves in various comical situations, including a couples competition dubbed the "Rawly-wed Game" and a family rivalry over the Nativity scene on Christmas. This season is highlighted by guest appearances by Molly Shannon as Carol's arch nemesis; Cloris Leachman as Carol's Aunt Louise; and Metta World Peace as himself.
