Varying workout routines is important for fitness. This video offers two cardio-dance routines in different styles. The first, led by Jennifer Kries, is ballet-influenced with exercises focusing on grace, flexibility, and balance. The second workout, instructed by Lisa Wheeler, is full of elongating, energetic movements in the jazz and modern dance traditions. Some of the combinations can be a little difficult to learn with no previous dance training, but investing the time in this workout is worth it. No additional equipment is needed for this workout, but a smooth, flat surface is helpful. Adaptable for all fitness levels.
