The next dynamite attack is more of a hit, wounding Charlotte's husband Will Richmond badly enough for her to stay and nurse him, convincing Vin he can't just break them up. Nathan turns down Ezra's idea start a hospital on land the claim to which he's offered by a terminal patient, Ezra plots to pick up opportunities for land or even gold. Wagon trail leader Gerard Whitman would fight on, but abides by a vote to give in and hand O'Shea the deed for safe return, despite Chris warning they'll probably won't be spared as they know too much. Indeed there is another dynamite trap, but Vin heroically deals with the explosives man.
