Love is in the air. Well, not only in the air, but also on the sea. Passengers who search for romantic nights aboard a beautiful ship travelling to tropical or mysterious countries, decide to pass their vacation aboard the "Love Boat", where Gopher (Fred Grandy), Dr. Bricker (Bernie Kopell), Isaac Ted Lange), Julie (Lauren Tewes), and Captain Stubing (Gavin MacLeod) try their best to please them, and sometimes help them fall in love. Things are not always so easy, but in the end, love wins and everybody leaves the dreamboat satisfied.

During a recent reunion for the hit '70s series Love Boat, McNichol, who also starred on the '80s sitcom Empty Nest but vanished from the spotlight in part because she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, told People she also left because she wanted to "see what else was out there." TV shows we want to reunite "I was on the big stage between ages 8 and 30," she added. "I left show business for a variety of reasons, but a big one was my interest in learning what else there is in life ... This phase of my life is so good. My home life is happy and serene. I love singing. I also enjoy traveling and seeing the world. One of my favorite stops is Hawaii. I like everything about it and may eventually move there part-time."
