The Long Ballad

A story that follows a princess who is a brilliant fighter and military strategist as she sets out on a journey to avenge her family and retake the throne. Due to the Xuanwu Gate Incident when Li Shimin instigated a coup to assassinate his rivals, Li Changge (Dilireba) who is the daughter of the murdered crown prince is forced to escape the palace. On her way to Youzhou to find help, Changge encounters Ashina Sun (Wu Lei) who goes by the alias Qin Zhun. While their meeting was born out of a fight, they gradually come to respect and cherish each other as equals. In crushing a conspiracy in Youzhou, Changge exposes her real identity and flees to Shuo Province. Alas, Shuo Province has fallen under siege from the Turks. Changge puts on a valiant fight against the invaders but never expected to meet an old acquaintance. Leading the enemy forces is none other than Qin Chun. Changge willingly allows herself to be taken as a prisoner of war after the fall of Shuo Province. Upon learning that the Great Khan has ulterior motives, Changge decides to temporarily set aside her personal vendetta for a greater cause.
