Jing Ke makes a failed attempt to assassinate the king of Qin during the Warring States period. Fleeing soldiers, Jing asks Gai Nie to take care of his son. Gai takes on 300 soldiers at the border as the king orders that Gai and Tian Ming be killed. The king's ministers task Wei Zhuang with finding them.
