Stephen is a mathematician and is soon offered funding by a company that is hoping to win a contract for total information access or TIA, a single all-purpose database for all of the UK that is about to become law. As strange events build upon one another - Yasim disappears, as does the downstairs neighbor - Stephen begins to use TIA to find out exactly what may have happened.
