Hanna and Barbera's second TV series starred an easygoing blue hound dog with a thick Southern drawl who tried his hand at various occupations. In spite of his top billing, Huck was somewhat upstaged by another character, a smarter-than-average bear named Yogi, until the famous resident of Jellystone spun off into his own series in 1961. 'Pixie and Dixie' segments were also featured during 'Huckleberry Hound,' which won an Emmy in 1960, the first ever by an animated show.
